In connection with your participation in this event, Deloitte will, as a data controller, collect and process personal data about you for the purposes specified below. Therefore, please read this text carefully to understand how we process your personal data.

We may collect and process data for the purposes of processing your event registration; planning, administering, conducting the event;, evaluating the event (evaluation input is pseudonymized; internal and external marketing activities including marketing and recruiting campaigns, as well as general branding at our social media platforms and our career site (including but not limited to intranet news, homepage news and campaigns, and physical campaigns), and evaluating whether your profile may match a job at Deloitte.

Meeting your request for participating in the event, planning and conducting the event in an effective manner, as well as evaluating the event as part of an ongoing internal evaluation and enhancement process, require the collection and processing of your personal data as described in this privacy notice.
Deloitte recognize the rights, including the right of freedom of individuals, and we are aware that Deloitte’s interests may, in some situations, conflict with such rights. However, processing activities are being thoroughly assessed to ensure a fair balance between the rights of individuals and Deloitte’s interests and ensure that any potential impact to the individuals is proportionate with the purposes of the processing.
5. Who do we share your personal data with and why?
In connection with one or more purposes outlined above, your personal data may be disclosed to and shared with vendors, any applicable event sponsors and collaborating parties with whom Deloitte is conducting an event, as well as other Deloitte entities. We may also share your personal data with public authorities when required by law or regulation.

We may transfer your personal data to other Deloitte entities. We may also transfer your data to IT providers, including cloud service providers, or to vendors of external services, who process and /or store the personal data on our behalf as part of planning and conducting the event.
Transfer of personal data to recipients in countries outside the EU/EEA
We may transfer your personal data to recipients located in countries outside the EU/EEA for the purposes listed in section 1. In such case, the legal basis for the international transfer will be EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC), or other applicable legal basis.
7. How long do we store your data?
We store your personal data (including but not limited to contact information, evaluation inputs, photos and quotes) for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, or until your consent is withdrawn.
Specifically, for your CV, diploma or any other documents disclosed by you to us in this context: 12 months after event attendance.

Please note that these rights are not absolute, as they should always be balanced against legal requirements and Deloitte’s legitimate interest.
Please be aware, that if you subsequently withdraw your consent or object to the processing, Deloitte will immediately remove your personal data from digital media and cease further processing of your data. However, photos and quotes used in already printed (physical) campaigns cannot be deleted.
